Your days will always be safe , fun and educational.  I am local to Anglesey and I live all year round where I work and play, being local I know the area inside out.

I love and cherish everyday I spend in the outdoors and it shows in the way I run your days.  Of course everything we do is to limit our effect on the environment.

Green, Sustainable and environmentally friendly

Time for a New Adventure!

I aim to be a leader in sustainable and responsible tourism.

There are many ways in which we minimise our effect on the environment and contribute to the local community.

There are two world class boat builders right on my door step here on Holy Island, and these are the boats I choose to use, minimising my carbon foot print and helping to keep local people employed.

I also encourage my clients to use local accommodation and suppliers, also car sharing and organising litter picks on local beaches.

Steve Miles Sea Kayaking is run by myself, Steve Miles.  I am an advanced guide and trainer and I regularly enjoy coaching at Symposiums around the UK and further afield.

My love of the sea started at a very young age helping out my father on local fishing boats, and later upon leaving school when I worked on the fishing trawlers myself. I love to be out on the water, and have paddled the coastline of Anglesey for 30+ years. My adventures have taken me as far as Greenland; The Roof Of Britain, Spain, Norway and a circumnavigation of Ireland which I completed in 34 days.

I put my local knowledge to good use and I am passionate about Sea Kayaking, I love to pass on this experience and knowledge to others in a fun and friendly way. Anglesey being an island means we can always find somewhere to kayak whatever the weather, making the most of its fantastic coast.  From sheltered bays ideally suited to notice kayakers, to more challenging waters around our famous headlands more suited to the advanced paddler. I offer courses from Introductory and Discover Sea Kayaking through to Intermediate and Advanced, with the option of customised bespoke courses if you're looking for something quite specific.

I also run expeditions each year, why not try a circumnavigation of Anglesey or Scotland with its abundance of sea birds and wild life, Geos and cavernous cave systems, a truly magical place. In 2005 I realised a lifelong dream when I started working professionally as an outdoor instructor, splitting my time between coasteering, and sea kayak guiding and coaching, with my focus now being solely on Sea Kayaking.

If you have any questions, queries or would like further information, please email / phone for further details. Hope to see you on the water soon...

Club Pagaia, Llanca, Costa Brava, Spain

I try to attend as many Symposiums around the World as I can, they're great fun and help in improving skills when it comes to coaching people from around the World; even picking up a few words in other languages here and there... my latest Symposium was I'm Llanca, Spain on the  Costa Brava.  I'd highly recommend attending the next one, as well as learning new skills, you'll have the opportunity of meeting so many people from all over the World!  Further information available at Club Pagaia, Llanca.
